Introduction
Synchronized distribution lists automatically update by pulling real-time data from ISRS, eliminating the need for manual user management.
Once these lists are available, automated scripts run at scheduled times to update list memberships. Please note that changes in enrollment may take 24–48 hours to reflect in the lists. For this reason, we strongly recommend not manually modifying the membership of these lists.
Membership is determined based on Major/Minor codes in ISRS.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the sync times?
The lists synchronize with ISRS daily at 6:00 p.m. Any student with the appropriate major or minor code should be added during that evening’s sync.
How do I email someone who hasn’t synced yet?
You can still send an email to the distribution list. However, if someone has not yet been added, you’ll need to manually BCC them in your message.
