ℹ️ Digital Accessibility: Microsoft Digital Accessibility Checker

The Microsoft Accessibility Checker is a quick way to improve your documents before sharing them with students and colleagues. Built into Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, it flags issues like missing alt text, poor color contrast, or unclear structure. Using this tool supports ADA Title II (effective April 2026), WCAG 2.1 AA compliance,  accessibility standards for public institutions. Regular use not only ensures equity and access but also saves faculty time when designing accessible materials from the start.
