Overview

The StarID is a username specific to each student, faculty, and staff member of Minnesota State System of colleges and universities.
Activate or change your password in one place — starid.minnstate.edu
Your StarID is two letters, four numbers, and two letters, e.g. "ab1234cd."
Faculty, staff, and students are all assigned a Minnesota State StarID.

Instead of a separate log in at each college or university, you can use the same StarID across Minnesota State to access resources.

If you are unable to sign into the StarID portal, contact the Minnesota State IT Service Desk at (877) 466-6728 or https://servicedesk.minnstate.edu to generate a validation code for you to get you back into your account. You can also contact HuskyTech at https://www.stcloudstate.edu/its/huskytech.
