Resetting Passcode for Secure Print Release

Tags print Pharos

Introduction

During summer 2026, SCSU is implementing a new fleet of modern multifunction printers that will leverage secure print release, where individuals can release print jobs while at the printer using a mobile app or passcode (no mobile app required). If you do not have your passcode, you can log into the HuskyPrint web portal, desktop app or in the mobile app to receive a new code.

Please note that passcodes are system-generated to ensure they are unique and secure for each user. Custom passcodes are not feasible. Treat your passcode like a password.

Instructions

You can reset your passcode on the web portal or on the Pharos Secure Release app.

Web portal instructions:

  1. Sign into the HuskyPrint web portal (scsu.mn/huskyprint)
  2. Click on the hamburger menu and select "Passcode"
  3. Select "Generate"
  4. If you are prompted to regenerate or cancel, select "Regenerate"
  5. Your new passcode will appear that you can use to log into the printer - it is recommended you take note of it in a secure manner, like a password, for future use
