TechID (also known as Employee ID, or Student ID)

Introduction

Your TechID sometimes referred to as employee ID or student ID is an eight-digit number that identifies a person's record in ISRS, the main record system used by the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities. If you are an employee and do not know your TechID, you can contact Human Resources. If you are a student and do not know your TechID, you can contact the Office of Records and Registration. Your TechID also appears on the front of your Campus Card.

As an important note. Please know that StarID does not replace your TechID.
