Transcripts Required for Graduate School Admission

Question

Do I need to submit transcripts from every school I attended?

Answer

Unofficial transcripts from each US undergraduate college or university attended* should be uploaded in the online application unless you accumulated less than 15 credits, excluding study abroad.

All graduate school transcripts should be uploaded to your application regardless of the number of credits completed, excluding study abroad, for schools in the US.

Official transcripts should be submitted by all applicants that attended or completed degree(s) outside the US, and all admitted students are required to submit official transcripts prior to registration opening for their second term.

*International students who completed coursework outside the US or Canada must be reviewed for degree equivalence and GPA conversion to US standards. St. Cloud State University staff will evaluate transcripts and academic records for admission review to determine admission eligibility, require expedited processing fees, or require a NACES-affiliated transcript review for applications submitted on the below schedule. All international academic records should be delivered as official, following instructions within the application for admission.

If your degree is in progress at the time of application we will require an official and attested copy of your final marks and completion certificates directly from your college or university.
