Instructions
1. Open Wi‑Fi Settings
- Tap the Settings app.
- Select Network & Internet (names may vary by device).
- Tap Wi‑Fi and ensure it is turned On.
- Select HuskyNet Secure from the list of available networks.
2. Check Your MAC Address Setting
Some Android devices default to randomized MAC addresses, which can prevent successful HuskyNet Secure authentication.
To fix this:
- Tap the HuskyNet Secure network name again.
- Select Advanced or Privacy.
- Change MAC address type to:

3. Configure Wi‑Fi Settings
Different Android models may show slightly different options. Use the following settings:
Required Network Configuration
- EAP Method: PEAP
- Phase 2 Authentication: MSCHAPV2
- If you don’t see this option, tap Advanced to expand all settings.
- CA Certificate:
- Preferably Do not validate
- If your device requires a certificate selection:
- Choose Use system certificates
- Set Domain: stcloudstate.edu
- Identity: Your StarID (e.g., ab1234cd)
- Anonymous Identity: Leave blank
- Password: Your StarID password4. You’re Connected!
- Tap Connect when finished.
Your device should now successfully join the HuskyNet Secure network.
