Change the Owner of a Supplemental Account

Introduction

 

  • Departments, centers, programs and student organizations can request a supplemental account for access to file/web space, D2L Brightspace, wireless network, library proxy, MNPALS and more.
  • To change the owner of an account, follow the instructions below.

Prerequisites

  • Off-campus users must be connected via:
    • Direct Access (Windows)
    • VPN (Mac)

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Log in to the Supplemental Account Page using your personal StarID and password.
  2. On the main screen, click the "Reassign" button located on the right side.
  3. Click "Find Person" to search for the new owner.
  4. Enter the name of the SCSU employee and select them from the search results.
  5. Click Submit to initiate the ownership change.
  6. The request will be routed for approval by a full-time staff member before it takes effect.
